Step 1. Wet curly or coily hair thoroughly, then remove excess water with your hands.

Step 2. Apply a small amount of shampoo (the size of a quarter) to the five main areas of the scalp.

Step 3. Add a little water and emulsify. Gently massage with fingertips to purify the scalp without excessive friction. Rinse thoroughly.

Step 4. Repeat for a second shampoo. Add water to create a more abundant lather and cleanse the lengths and ends.

Step 5. Rinse thoroughly.
